Keywords in Rhetoric and Composition

What keywords do you see cropping up in our discussions of rhet/comp and the paradigms? In what ways do these ideas/terms manifest themselves in your daily lives? Use the readings from the week and our class discussions to support your answers. Don't feel compelled to use every keyword, however. Rather, in our own opinion, what are the most important or compelling terms for the field?

Welcome to WEPO

Welcome to the blog for our WEPO course this fall. Here, we’ll be completing your assigned journals. I’ll typically post a prompt on Monday, and you’ll respond before class on Friday (when the post is officially due). In addition, I’ll be granting each of you administrative status, meaning you’ll be able to contribute to this blog beyond merely posting responses; that is, you’ll be able to create your own threads, add your own content. During the semester, I encourage you to take advantage of this feature: post a link to an interesting, applicable article or video; share your thoughts on a pertinent, pressing matter; solicit feedback from your peers; set up collaborative sessions outside of class. In short, use the affordances of the blog.
